People have allways been attracted and still are of flashy expensive things. This segment of people who can afford them as well  are creating a constant demand for  such objects.Designers are trying to respond to this demand with various objects from different areas. This extends from earrings  toilet seats upto cars.An object included in that segment is also this chandelier, created by New York’s well-known architects Daniel Libeskind in asociation with the Austrian lighing company Zumtobel.
This  limited-edition called eL Masterpiece weighs over 350 pounds and is roughly nine feet tall and allmost two-and-a-half feet wide.An incandescent masterpiece,  with an intriguing shape, this eL Masterpiece chandelier has a highly polished stainless steel exterior and a stainless-and-23-carat-gold-plated-leaf  interior. The tru beauty of this item lies in the seven color scenarios, for which 1,680 specially designed LED modules have been used.
The magnificent idea behind the various color scenarios is to portray the cosmic light that fills the universe and it can be accesed and set up wirelessly via a special program installed on your mobile phone, allowing you to  activate individual build-in mechanisms attached to each module. For everybody’s surprise  there is some science involved behind this cosmic project. This idea derived from a complex algorithm developed by astrophysicists from the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam. That formula has been used for LEDs to tell the story of how light come into being.eL masterpiece made its first appearece at the  Art Basel Miami Beach and is the fourth  in Zumbotel’s series of creative and technical inovations.
